Change in Plans

Some RMs have expressed a concern over being unable to work a Level III match in their area to qualify for re-certification, thereby forcing them to travel outside their area. With the Nationals coming up in a couple of weeks and the World Shoot following right behind it, having a current certification is especially important.

Since the RM program is designed to assist RMs in maintaining their certification rather than punish them with unnecessary travel and unneeded expense, the instructors have revised the policy to make maintaining RM certification even easier.

Because our main goal is to get the RMs more active in matches and to pass on the knowledge and experience they have gained over the years, the following policy is now in place for RMs:

To maintain certification, RMs must work a Level II match or above as a CRO, RM, or TD each calendar year.

Working as a RO at the US Nationals and any Level III or higher International match will also fulfill the maintenance requirement.
